Port Regis Care Home offers residential and specialist dementia care for ladies and gentlemen in Broadstairs. Rooms look out onto the beautiful grounds where wild parakeets and woodpeckers can be seen amongst other wildlife. Some rooms benefit from a distant sea view across the fields while others have a forest or field view.
Independence
We aim to enable the people under our care to maximise their abilities and retain their independence as far as possible. The rooms at Port Regis have been designed to encourage the retention of daily life skills for as long as possible.
From comfortable, adapted living accommodation to communal areas with supportive furnishings and activity rooms, the space at Port Regis gives us the ability to provide the right care and assistance to meet the assessed needs of the residents under our care.
Dementia Care
Those who are receiving dementia care live in our specially designed separate wing, which uses colour coordination, photographs and other memory techniques to assist those living with dementia to retain their independence as much as possible.
A selection of different rooms is available to suit everyone’s needs and requirements. We offer premium rooms up to a selection of platinum rooms. We do accept local authority funding which can be topped up along with self-funded residents. All of our rooms are beautifully designed enjoying the views across the grounds and fields.
Residents are encouraged to bring in any special items from home to ensure their room feels like a home away from home.
